Pia Schjøtt

Pia has broad business law expertise, and works primarily with dispute resolution and procedure.

Pia has two years of judicial experience from a position as a deputy judge in Hordaland District Court. She has extensive experience with dispute resolution for the ordinary courts, and handles ongoing procedural disputes, injunction and arrest cases, as well as issues related to bankruptcy and recovery. She has assisted Norwegian and international clients in disputes regarding, among other things, shareholder rights, board liability, insurance law, choice of law, labor law, real estate, tort law and contract law. She has litigated before district courts and courts of appeal, and has handled appeals to the Supreme Court and the ECHR.

Pia holds a Master's degree in Law from the University of Bergen, where she wrote her master's thesis in corporate law. At the same university, she is appointed as an external examiner and supervisor for master's students.
